• remote login to property level server
• sky controls access to this so if an account is needed, hes the man to talk to

2. roommaster setup app

• allow configuration of engine parameters
• image edits made here

3. prep images on local machine

Two images must be created for each image to be used. Unfortunately, we are still manually creating thumbnails as well as full images. The thumbnail value is probably the best we can do. The full size dimensions are probably optimal also, but if necessary, the height can change but the width should remain 1000px.

• Thumbnail 150x150px
• Full size 1000x667px

Naming conventions

Its worth trying to maintain a standard here. The following seemed to make the most sense.

If you’re gonna do it, might as well do it right. Right? = ]

• three character hotel designation
• property assigned ‘room type’ designation
• single word description
• 150 for thumb, empty for full size
• extension

For example:

thumb:

plm-sdds-bedroom-150.jpg

full:

plm-sdds-bedroom.jpg

4. upload to property level server

• in team viewer, ‘file transfer’ button at top of TV remote window
• must specify local and remote directory paths appropriately

Example path (plim)
C:/inetpub/wwwroot/IQReservations/roomimages
In all likelihood, this will differ wildly across individual properties

5. cite new images throgh roommaster setup

It doesnt appear there is any simpler way to cite new images than manually entering the name in the appropriate fields.
